Bilal Ansari, M.D., a native of Hyderabad, Pakistan earned his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Dow Medical College and the Karachi University, Pakistan. He interned at Mehran Clinic in Karachi and at Ball Memorial Hospital at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. During his residency, which was also served at Ball Memorial Hospital, he was awarded the William Boyd Fisher Award for the Best Resident of the Year. In May of 2003, Dr. Ansari completed his fellowship in oncology and hematology at Tulane University at New Orleans. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Dr. Ansari is the Medical Director of Inpatient Oncology Services at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka where he also serves on the Board of Trustees. He is actively involved in clinical research as a sub-investigator in the Northern Indiana Cancer Research Consortium (NICRC). He has published several articles.
