Rafat H. Ansari, M.D., F.A.C.P., a native of Karachi, Pakistan, earned his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Liquat Medical College and the University of Sind in Sind, Pakistan, where he was named Best Graduate and Gold Medalist. He interned at Jinnah Postgraduate Institution in Karachi, and at Louis Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Ansari served his fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. The President of Michiana Hematology-Oncology, P.C., he also serves as Medical Director of Oncology Services at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN and is a clinical associate at the University of Chicago. Dr. Ansari is a sub-investigator for the Northern Indiana Cancer Research Consortium (NICRC). Dr. Ansari is a fellow in the American College of Physicians, board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and has published nearly 100 posters, abstracts and journal articles.
