David A. Taber, M.D., a native of McGregor, Iowa, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree from Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Taber served a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in medical oncology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, and then practiced hematology/oncology at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago. He is certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Taber is the former Medical Director of Oncology Services at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Plymouth and currently a sub-investigator in the Northern Indiana Cancer Research Consortium (NICRC). He has published several abstracts and articles.
